Double-Book Release: July 1st

Remember those epic double-albums from your youth? I've decided to give it a shot—in book form. Coming July 1st on Amazon. (NOTE: It will be available on my store a few weeks later).

1. The Germ in the Dairy Pail
2. The Reason We Kiss

EPIC!

"The Germ in the Dairy Pail" is a kind of sequel to "The Moth in the Iron Lung." It tells the story of the 200-year war on the world's most amazing food—milk! It's a fascinating story I've tried to tell in my special style that makes it super easy to read. Trust me, it's a wild story if you've never read it. I don't know how you would have read it because I found some new stuff along the way I haven't heard anyone else talk about. Even if you've read some other milk books before, I think this one will blow your mind!

You can even pre-order the Kindle version now on Amazon.

I've been working on the "The Reason We Kiss" book for several years & decided I can't wait another day to get it out. I've mentioned it in various interviews as "The Infection Dilemma" but decided on a much more interesting title.

It's such a wild book, I'm really having a hard time describing it. The only way I can currently talk about it is to say it's about something I'm calling "Syntropy," which is essentially a new field of study. Syntropy is, in a way, the opposite of science. Science studies things. Syntropy studies the relationship between things. Science zooms in. Syntropy zooms out. It's an absolutely new way of looking at the world and all the life upon it. Even beyond the earth, in some ways. I'm really excited about this book—I think it may change the way many people think about health. It will also be coming out on July 1st (Print/Digital/Audiobook). For now, the Kindle version is available for pre-order on Amazon.

Here's a description of the book from retail channels:

A mother kisses her child's scraped knee. A father embraces his long-lost son. A dog greets its owner with desperate joy. Every culture, every species, every corner of the living world engages in these intimate acts of connection. We've been told these are merely displays of affection. But what if there’s something more?
WHAT IF A KISS IS MORE THAN JUST A KISS?
For the first time in human history, we are starting to see the hidden force that builds life through connection—not because we discovered something new, but because we have broken something ancient. Our epidemics of autism, autoimmunity, anxiety, and alienation have created enough contrast to finally perceive what was always there: Syntropy, the equal and opposite force to entropy. Where entropy measures separation and decay, syntropy suggests how all life is maintained through touch, shared struggles, and even illness. This isn't mysticism or philosophy—it's observable reality that explains why:
Modern medicine often makes us sicker
Cities breed mental illness despite their all their perks
Children need germs more than they need sterility
Traditional societies stayed healthier with less technology
Isolation kills faster than most diseases
SYNTROPY: A NEW WAY OF UNDERSTANDING HEALTH

This groundbreaking work from best-selling author, Forrest Maready, introduces a revelationary understanding that transcends science, philosophy, and religion. Syntropy reveals that our ancestors may not have been as primitive as we thought—they may have been participating in biological networks we're just now seeing. Now, as our hyper-connected yet desperately lonely civilization collapses into chaos, understanding syntropy isn't just intellectually fascinating—it's survival. From the microbial exchanges that transmit behavior to the limits of human connection, from why beauty matters to why suffering serves a purpose, this book maps the operating system of life itself. The implications challenge every assumption of the modern world while offering the first real hope for healing our broken age.

I've never been this excited about either of these books before. And I'm doing two of them at once. I really hope you enjoy both of them on July 1st!
